MEET JOHN

Experienced Leadership Ready to Serve Hometown

Welcome! I just want to take a moment to introduce myself. My name is John Cardwell and I currently serve on the Loudon City Council.  I was born and raised here in Loudon and my roots run deep. Although, I have spent many years traveling the world in the  military and have seen many wonderful places,  I can honestly say my favorite place will always be my home. Our small town feel and close-knit community is what makes Loudon the best place to live, raise families and own businesses.

I want to continue to use my experience in leadership, balancing budgets and organizing people to work together to serve our community. The people and relationships across this city are the reason and encouragement for me to serve on Loudon City Council.

While I plan to meet as many of you as possible, this website serves as another way to get to know me as a person; as a councilman, citizen, husband, father, grandfather, businessman, and veteran. Please know that my goal is to LISTEN. It is my opinion that our public servants are to be just that; servants. I want to serve the PEOPLE of Loudon, so I want to know what YOU want and dream about for Loudon.

Please take some time to explore this website, connect with me on Facebook, and check out the Loudon County History Project Archives all linked below on this page. Email me or message me on Facebook any time!

See you around town!

"Thank you, thank you, thank you. I am grateful for everyone who came out to vote and give us a victory in the Loudon City Council Special Election. I am honored and humbled to fill the seat once held by Johnny James. I may be filling his seat, but I will never fill his shoes. Johnny you will be missed. I am posting this picture in his honor, as one of his last projects was to paint this Bronco. This campaign is over, but the next one will begin very soon. I am asking for your support for the November election. For now, I will start the work for the citizens of Loudon on August 8th. Again, thank you for your support and I hope to see everyone as I continue to walk around our great town."
